Huggies® Gold/Disney Promotion

  1. Participation in this promotional competition constitutes acceptance of the rules, terms & conditions.
  2. This promotional competition is open to any person that lives in South Africa other than a person that is a director, member, partner, employee or agent of, or consultant to Kimberly-Clark of South Africa (Pty) Ltd of 8 Leicester Rd, Bedford Gardens, 2008 (“Kimberly-Clark”) , their merchandisers, advertising, promotional and PR agencies, or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by Kimberly-Clark or a supplier of goods or services associated with the supply of goods and services in connection with this promotional competition and all such persons’ immediate families. Persons may not be under the age of 18.
  3. The promotional competition is open from 01 August 2015 to 31 December 2015 (the promotional period).
  4. Participants must be over the age of 18 and reside in South Africa to be considered valid entrants and proof of South African ID will be requested to verify winners.
  5. Participants stand a chance to win 1 of 5 Disney Educational Libraries Grand prizes at the end of the competition which are worth R85 000.00 each (Eighty Five Thousand Rands) or 1 of 4 Disney Book Hampers weekly prizes which are worth R1500.00 (One Thousand Five Hundred Rands) every week.   
  6. 4 (four) winners will win 1 (one) Disney Book Hamper each week for 22 (twenty two) weeks (total of 88 hampers) by unique codes entered that are instant wins and 5 (five) Disney Educational Libraries will be won by entrants based on lucky draw of entries received at the end of the competition period. Instant winners are also eligible to win the Disney Educational Library.
  7. Instant prize winners will be notified immediately via SMS that they are a lucky hamper winner and will receive a follow up SMS to provide key details for verification and then prize fulfilment.
  8. Instant prize winners will also be contacted telephonically and will need to respond with address details within 5 working days on the micro site to avoid forfeiting.

  13. To enter: Prospective participants will need to purchase a promotional pack of Huggies® Gold for boys and girls which will be identified by the promotional sticker visible on pack, -
    1. Prospective participants will then have to cut the promotional sticker found on the pack open and SMS the code indicated to 33351 and include their pack’s unique code found on the sticker. E.g.: SMS 33351 and input their unique code on their pack.
    2. SMS costs are charged at standard SMS rates of R1.50 and free SMS bundles do not apply.
  14. Random system generated weekly winners will be alerted via a response SMS on entry that they are either a winner or that they must keep on entering to continue to stand a chance to win.
  15. Only 1 (one) entry per unique code is permitted, with a further limitation of up to 10 (ten) entries per day per entrant.
  16. Winners will be asked to provide a valid till slip as proof of purchase. Therefore all participants must retain their till slips after making the purchase of a promotional pack of Huggies® Gold for boys and girls.
  17. Proof of their SA ID to verify age will be required as well. On verification, the system will require the winners to share their delivery details so that their hamper can be delivered to them.
  18. Unique codes will also be verified against the system database.
  19. The lucky draw will be done at the following address: VPAS Idea Merchants, Unit 37 Block A, Millennium Business Park, Edison Way, Century City, 7441 by independent auditors Wilder Lockitch.
  20. The delivery of specified prizes below as per the above conditions will be delivered within 10  working days of having received the address details.
  21. Weekly Disney Book hamper prizes worth R1500.00 (One Thousand Five Hundred Rands) each will include:  
    • A range of (minimum 5) different Disney books, for example:  1 x board book, 1 x classic storybook, 2 x activity books, 1 x book with CD. 
    • All packaged in a Disney Mickey and/or Minnie backpack.  (Backpacks may be gender neutral dependant on Disney stock availability).
  22. The grand prize Disney Educational Libraries worth R85 000.000 (Eighty Five Thousand Rands) each are tailored to a girl or a boy and include.
    • A pre-built modular Disney Library unit/system to be fitted and implemented in the winners’ particular space. The unit/system will be configured according to the room space.
    • An iPad mini 16GB WiFi with a R500 iTunes voucher to download Disney games according to the child’s gender and age make up.
    • A flat screen TV and a DVD player (32 Inch Samsung). 
    • A range of books (minimum 2 per category), in the following age categories 0 – 2 years, 3 – 5 years, 6 – 8 years.  The categories will include storybooks, colouring and activity books (sticker books, stencil books or read-along books).
    • Disney DVDs, including Disney movies (classic and new), series and/or educational shows.
    • Disney music CDs, Disney toys, including plush toys, play sets, figurines and action figures and puzzles. 
    • Disney stationery including crayons, markers, notepads, pencil cases, stickers and themed creativity sets. 
    • Disney character costumes to play dress-up with. 
    • Wall decals, lamps and other Disney related décor to decorate the space.
    • The winners will need to acknowledge that the installation of the library may necessitate alterations/variations to the room concerned and that there may be painting, drilling etc.
    • The Promoter will not be held liable for any repair work required to remove the installations should that become necessary at a later date. 
    • The Promoter will need written consent from the owner of the property to undertake the installation.  There will be no building, electrical or plumbing changes, but if the winner is renting the property the owner of the property may not allow any painting or drilling etc.  Before proceeding consultations will be held with the winner as to the end product, but the final decision on design and manufacture remains at the discretion of Kimberly-Clark.
    • To this end should a satisfactory agreement not be reached, Kimberly-Clark reserves the right to withdraw the prize and re-award it to a replacement winner. 
    • The suppliers used to undertake the installation of the libraries will remain at the sole discretion of Kimberly-Clark.  The winner indemnifies Kimberly-Clark for any loss etc. which may be experienced in the execution of this prize.
  23. Kimberly-Clark reserves the right to make media announcements and/or publications of the name and photographs of the winners, provided that any winner may elect to expressly / in writing decline this. The promoter also reserves the right to carry out audits in respect of any winner of the promotional incentive in order to verify their eligibility.
  24. Prizes are not for resale and are not exchangeable for cash or any other consideration. Unless otherwise agreed in writing prizes are not transferable.
  25. The winners and any participants in this competition acknowledge and agree that neither Kimberly-Clark or a supplier of goods or services in connection with this competition will not be liable for any loss, damage or any other liability of any nature whatsoever and howsoever arising out of their participation in this competition or prize awarded including losses incurred during the travel period to the destination awarded in terms of the prize winnings, save for liability that is determined by law. The winners and the participants consequently indemnify Kimberly-Clark in this regard. All winners shall be required to sign an indemnification, in terms of which Kimberly-Clark is indemnified against all losses and damages whatsoever and howsoever arising, prior to accepting the prize. This is a material condition of this competition, as Kimberly-Clark shall under no circumstances accept any liability of any nature for loss or damages of the winners.
  26. Kimberly-Clark has the right to terminate this Promotion immediately and without notice. In the event of such termination, all participants agree to waive any rights that they may have in terms of this Promotion and acknowledge that they will have no recourse against Kimberly-Clark or a supplier of goods or services in connection with this Promotion.
  27. If this Promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of Kimberly-Clark, Kimberly-Clark reserves the right to the extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Promotion, as appropriate.
  28. Kimberly-Clark or a supplier of goods or services in connection with this Promotion are not responsible for any errors, omissions and/or technical failures of any nature whatsoever throughout this Promotion.
  29. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law (but not otherwise) Kimberly-Clark, sponsors assume no responsibility and are not liable for:- (i) the accuracy or otherwise of the prize description or illustration, (ii) the non-availability, loss, interception or interference with, late receipt or damage of or to any prize, coupon or notification or other communication, (iii) any representation, warranty, condition or guarantee in respect of a prize.
